Califino Tequila

Welcome to the Fino Life

The brand’s name CaliFino comes from its mission to introduce California to the world’s finest tequilas. Created by Miguel Luna and Phil Salvagio (best known as players for the San Diego Sockers), CaliFino launched in 2014 to share the tequila that the Luna family has been making since 1975. CaliFino tequila is made from the finest, hand-selected blue agave, grown in the historical Arandas Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.

The Project

Custom WordPress Theme

CaliFino was interested in updating the look and feel of their website, incorporating new product images and moving away from a website builder and onto the WordPress platform.

Custom Design

High-fidelity mockups were created using Sketch. Existing brand guidelines, analytics data, and a competitor analysis were used in guiding design decisions.

HTML & CSS Prototype

Material Design for Bootstrap was used to create the HTML & CSS prototype.

WordPress

PHP was used to create the WordPress template pages.
